Subsections

Hi,
The theme page mentions that subsections are supported but I was wondering how you would recommend files to be organized for them to work.

Take the exampleSite configuration:

└── content
    ├── _index.md
    ├── categories
    |   ├── Test
    |   |   └── _index.md 

How could you add a category "subTest" that would show up as a subsection to Test?
I've tried to following but it's not working as intended so I must be missing something.

└── content
    ├── _index.md
    ├── categories
    |   ├── Test
    |   |   ├──_index.md 
    |   |   └── subTest
    |   |   | └── _index.md
