This is just a minor infrastructure thing that would make management a bit easier. I propose that we should add:

  • Pull request template: A simple checklist that must be filled out and includes a number of things such as ensuring that the build passes, the testcases all run through, and documentation has been added about what the PR includes
  • A whatsnew.txt file that is added to every time a PR is issued. This will make it easier to track exactly what's in each release.
