Setting UserID

We have set the UserID on the app that we have embeded our players into. The tracking is working great, thanks for all the hard work that went into creating the plugin. We need to pass/set the userId so that we can stitch all the video events to the user id. Is it as easy as adding "userId": "USER-ID" to the options(JSON) field directly under "tracker": "UA-xxxxxxxx-x"?
