GBP Final Balance value #409
-
I have noticed that the GBP value in the Final Balances section seems to be wrong. I understand the data you get out of it is only as good as the input you put in. My manual calculation shows that all of the various trade types calculated my final GBP balance as 0, yet the pdf report is showing that I have a GBP value. Interestingly, the values of crypto each assett I own per wallet match perfectly, so i'm confused what is going on with the GBP. Could this be a bug? |

Not all wallets/exchanges provide details of all fiat deposits/withdrawals so sometimes they will show a negative balance. This is not a problem regarding the tax calculations, but if you would like the audit to balance correctly you can manually add any missing GBP deposits/withdrawals. Out of interest, what wallet/exchange does not balance for GBP in the audit? |

I have worked out my issue. Also, after correcting the above, I have also realised when selling an asset for fiat, then the total sale amount goes in column A and the fee amount in column H. I was entering the amount I phsically recieved - exluding the fee in col A, and then the fee in col H which was skewing the figures. |

When I have transferred or sold an asset, I have written the GBP value in column J 'Fee Value in GBP' not realising that I also should have entered that value in column H 'Fee Quantity' and the asset GBP in column I.
