how to config WCS1700 Hall-Sensor

Hello,

how do i config WCS1700 Hall-Sensor in the config file. I reviewed the code from bettapro on github, but my lack of programming skills lead me to failure.

that is what i modifyed and i think last part isn't right. The output on the virtual pin 12 a littel bit of.

You have to adjust these parameters according to the sensor you're using:

  // V measured at 0 ampere flowing to the load

  // Volt/Ampere ratio
  #define EXTERNAL_HEAVY_LOAD_CURRENT_METER_VOLTAGE_AMP_VOLT 4/100.0

Default values are not correct for WCS1700 (3.3v supply):

• EXTERNAL_HEAVY_LOAD_CURRENT_METER_VOLTAGE_ZERO_AMP_VOLT should be about 1.7323
• EXTERNAL_HEAVY_LOAD_CURRENT_METER_VOLTAGE_AMP_VOLT should be about 0.025-0.03

hello bettapro, than you for your answer.

So i have done something awaiting a hint. At first i measured aOut an got 1,59V@ no load on the system. Out of the datasheet i got 32mV for one ampere.

my test parameter are

• #define EXTERNAL_HEAVY_LOAD_CURRENT_METER_VOLTAGE_ZERO_AMP_VOLT 1.59
• #define EXTERNAL_HEAVY_LOAD_CURRENT_METER_VOLTAGE_AMP_VOLT 0.032/1

Is it right das the measured parameter is forwarded to pin V12 ?

Seems resonable and close enought.

One side note: WCS1700 should measure current "to the load", the overall current (virtual pin 12) is calculated as:
current from SCC to the batteries - current of the loads ( measured by WCS1700)
