The current baseline manufacturing plant was designed for producing 100,000 packs annually. The model calculates costs for different manufacturing capacities using scaling ratios for calculating the costs of every manufacturing step. This model will provide reasonable estimates for manufacturing capacities of 20-500% of the baseline rate. In order to get highly accurate costs for very low or very high manufacturing capacities, baseline manufacturing data needs to be changed. It is an established data set yet an old one and hence the cost outputs achieved can be higher than the current standard.
These values keep changing with advancements in the manufacturing processes.
