So far I have everything as ../top.html, but when I go further into my files directory where I have the marked up documents, it has the same error message as before, I have even tried putting a top.html into the folder but it still isn't showing up.

Also, my menu keeps moving sideways and I am not sure why.

@RLG95 In your webspace, top.html is in the same folder as index.html. That means that all you need is the filename top.html ... no additional directory info is needed.

@RLG95 Your top.html is adding another head-element. Remember that an html-file can only have one head-element.

I know it was in the rubric that I am not supposed to have my top.html and docs.css in each directory but even with the '../' the only way I was able to fix it to show up on each space was by putting it in each one. If that's the only way I can get it to work will we still lose points?
