About this release:
This release brings two new features that were planned a long time ago. Since this release, you can now add, remove and edit all shortcuts for all known in-app actions. One single action can also have multiple shortcuts as well! As a result, some actions that were previously not accessible from the menu and UI can also be triggered via your own custom shortcuts! We also introduced the ability to pause an animated image and also allows you do frame-by-frame playback, you can assign a shortcut for such action and use it the way you like.
As mentioned in the previous release, since this release, I no longer offer Qt 5 support. As a result, neither Ubuntu 22.04 and Windows Qt 5 builds will be provided at GitHub Release. While the ability to build against Qt 5 from source is possible at the moment, keep in mind it's still not supported.
Since this release, the pre-built Windows binary switched to use MSVC instead of MinGW. Since it will then require VC runtime and user might not have it installed, the runtime installer vc_redist.x64.exe is also provided inside the zip file, which can be deleted once you installed it or if you don't need it at all. Since this release I also started providing an experimental macOS build. An unsigneddmg package is provided in this release. It's tested under macOS Sequoia and you probably need to disable SIP to make it your default image viewer (due to it's not being signed). Feel free to open a discussion thread if you have suggestions for macOS support.
As always, I would like to say thanks to all the contributors who donated their time working on the translation. If you are also interested to improve existing translations or adding new translations, head to Weblate and then start translating!
