Description

For now, all telemetries that we could gather for the Azure Verified Terraform module are the download count, and that’s not enough for us.

Maybe we can implement a new Terraform Provider which contains a special resource, it contains a tags argument so we can generate Yor tags on it, and when the resource’s Read method is called, a request would be sent to our online web service which contains these tags. In all our Verified Modules, this special resource is turned off by default by a new toggle variable, with permission from our customer (by setting this variable to true explicitly), we can gather the usage statistics data.
