Good ol' e1000 works like a champ! Realtek, on the other hand, flat out crashes and reboots. :-( Anybody else having this issue?

Interesting. Can you see at which point it crashes? Already during IP resolving or when connecting. I have a bunch of different NICs I could try with.

Soon as you run ssh2d386 - reboots. Got ping - ping works fine. Tested without any himem or anything. NDIS. Realtek in general seems buggy - I can't make realtek work at all under ODI. This was 8168/8111 which is RTGND.DOS. (Had to pare down, sorry, I don't know that I have any broadcom to test)

I am also having issues with SFTPD386 causing reboots on my machine. It tends to be after I connect, and then issue the commands exit or bye, when the computer reboots. I will create a separate issue, but thought I would comment here, since reboot was the common symptom.
