Is there an existing issue for this?

  • I searched the existing issues and did not find anything similar.

Current Behavior

AntiMicroX will detect any controller I plug in, but it does not detect any input from buttons, d-pad, analog sticks or bumpers. The triggers are the only input detected by the software.

Expected Behavior

The software reads any and all inputs from the controller at the given poll rate.

Steps To Reproduce

  1. Open AntiMicroX
  2. Plug in an Xbox controller (might be the same case for others I'm not sure)
  3. Start pressing buttons on the controller and see what inputs are registered

Environment

Program Version 3.4.0
Compiled from packaging: GitHub Windows Release
Built Against SDL 2.30.1
Running With SDL 2.30.1
Using Qt 5.15.2
Using Event Handler: SendInput
Host OS: windows Version: 10 Architecture: x86_64

Anything else?

I went into the Control Panel > Devices and printers > My controller > Game controller settings and confirmed that all controller inputs work properly and that it is not a hardware issue.

I just restarted my PC and that solved the issue, so it is likely an issue that occurs after long CPU runtime.

I experienced the same issue, a restart also fixed it.

In a game, I was experiencing unusual multi-inputs even though they were not showing up on the antimicrox screen.

I am experiencing the same issue, and rebooting Windows didn't fix it for me.

However, my physical controller isn't actually an Xbox controller, but rather a DualShock 4 mapped to a virtual Xbox 360 controller by DS4Windows. The real device is hidden from everything but DS4Windows using HidHide. My setup is working without any probelms in any other software besides AntimicroX. AntimicroX detects the virtual 360 controller only after manually clicking "Update Joysticks", and it does not respond to any inputs from the controller except for the analog triggers

Could you collect some logs when this issue happens?

I'm having the same problem, it worked fine the last time I used it. I even updated to 3.5 and it only detects trigger events.

Hey, sorry for leaving this hanging so long. Life been happening and such. I'm away from home now, but I'll try to get some logs for ya when I'm back
