Tooltip box hidden by other UI elements #31
Comments
Perhaps related, in the design tab the option for accounting for clustering is called 'Clustered design?' while the matching option in the analyse tab is called 'Adjust for hierarchical sampling?'. Standardising these would be good, and choosing some short might help with the tooltip problem. Perhaps we could 'Cluster/hierarchical sampling?' for both tabs. Thoughts? |
If we do change the names, we will need to make an action item to update the documentation. I think this would include the tutorials, the hierarchical sampling explainer, and some how-to-guides which all refer to these buttons |
Good points about the name. When users upload their own survey data, is it expected that the survey is strictly either an unclustered or clustered design? If so, I think "cluster/hierarchical sampling" is suitable and warrants dropping the "adjust" part. Perhaps one of "Cluster sampling" or "Hierarchical sampling" is fine too, and the one that isn't used can be moved to the tooltip |

Also clean comments and fct prep for power calcs.
When using the Analyse tab the tooltip for adjusting for hierarchical sampling is hidden:
You can still scroll left-right in the left-panel to see to tooltip but this is bit tricky (and perhaps only possible with a trackpad?)
Other tooltips don't seem to have this problem e.g.
