How to get access AmsterdamUMCdb with Google BigQuery? #104

Dear Administrators of the AmsterdamUMCdb team:

I am an ICU physician from The First Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine, Guangzhou, P.R. China. My institutional email is [email protected], and I have been approved for access to AmsterdamUMCdb.

I have noticed that the codes for the OMOP Common Data Model and the "reason_for_admission.ipynb" notebook are no longer available for AmsterdamUMCdb-v1.0.2. I assume this is due to the dataset being updated to the latest version of AmsterdamUMCdb, which is available on Google BigQuery for authorized users with Google Colaboratory.

However, when I attempted to connect to the dataset following the documentation in the "getting_started.ipynb" notebook (I had already added my institutional email to my Google account), I encountered a 403 error indicating that I do not have permission. I also found a similar issue reported by another user in the GitHub community (#65).

I would like to ask how can I access the latest version of the dataset through Google BigQuery? Do I need to apply for the access permission of the dataset again? I look forward to your reply at your convenience.

We indeed transitioned to OMOP in preparation for AmsterdamUMCdb v2. Since the data in the OMOP version is the same, only the data model has changed, I think we should be able to give you access to the OMOP version if you want.

First of all, thank you for your reply! I really need the latest version of AmsterdamUMCdb v2, which contains the OMOP. As the Google's BigQuery services seemed unavailable for our lab servers due to network firewalls, I want to deploy the AmsterdamUMCdb on my Ubuntu LTS lab server in the local area network. How can I get the latest version of AmsterdamUMCdb v2? I previously sent an email regarding this to you and your team. My institutional email is [email protected]
