Colors and branding on the new Altinn user platform

Context

What is the issue that we're seeing that is motivating this decision or change?
Right now, we are lacking in guidelines when it comes to branding and the use of color in the new user platform, leading to several possible truths instead of one unified understanding.

Firstly, is brand identity through a color palette important to Altinn, or are we at liberty to choose them based purely on context and practicality? There should of course be established some kind of pattern, but should this be a new palette created for this new platform, or are there already brand guidelines documented somewhere that simply need to be put into use?

How about the colors branded with Altinn's name in the Designsystem? Are they the ones to follow, with their palette of purple, blue and red? Or should these colors be revised before being put into use?

Also, are there other aspects of branding that should be taken into consideration? (Logos etc…)
