What it's about
An open discussion session led by Dr Thomas Cornulier about reproducibility of R code. The session will cover topics on reproducibility, transparency and reusability, and the use of online resources.

Introduction: Replicability, reproducibility and all that: do we care?

Discussion #1: Sharing our own experiences: we'll be using post-its on the MS Teams Whiteboard to share issues we've face in the past, recommendations/solutions we've found.

Quick practice: dig out some old code and run it (this is more fun if you have access to your own code for this session, but if not ASG Tutorials can be used as a substitute test subject).

Discussion #2: Collate experiences of what went or didn’t go well. What can we do to improve things and limit risks? Good practice and moving forward.

Who is it for
Anyone who currently uses, or wants to learn about, reproducibility in R.

When and where

  • Wednesday 31st March 2021
  • 16:00 - 18:00

This session is open to everyone, so please share it with anyone who might be interested.

Hope you see you there!
