Describe the bug
I successfully created version 1.5.5 for android and installed it on my OUYA (Android 4.1) but in the display options there is no OUYA option under "Controller Tip". There are options for XBOX, Playstation, NintendoPro, SNESColored, but there is no OUYA option to choose from.

I installed IT on my tablet (Android 7.1) and the same thing happened but playing it on desktop, the OUYA and MOGA options appear.

And old version, the 1.4.3 release, show the options without problems.

Expected behavior
Should be OUYA and MOGA options in "Controller Tip" menu.

Platform (please complete the following information):

  • OS: Android
  • Version: 4.1 and 7.1

Game Version:
1.5.5

Additional context
Nothing

Unusual; nothing should have changed in regard to controllers outside of the Linux platform since 1.4.3. We'll look into it for 2.0.

@ZacharyFoxx Can you check if you can replicate the issue with 1.5.2?
You can use the AM2RLauncher and use mod found here.

@ZacharyFoxx we do not support direct uploads of the game in compliance with the DMCA, and as such I had to remove your reply. Here is the original text, without the offending link:

I created the apk using the mod for version 1.5.2, installed it in OUYA and the OUYA and MOGA options appear in "Controller Tips".

The only strange behavior about the apk created with the mod is that it doesn't appear in the PLAY menu in OUYA, because the OUYA icon is missing in /res/drawble-xhdpi-v4 and the AndroidManifest.xml is not formatted correctly to match the OUYA configuration , but it works exactly as expected.

In any case, this is likely an accident due to changes I made to the menu system in release 1.5.3. We can't promise a 1.5.6 build, as development is focused on the private 2.0 fork, but we'll definitely review button display options in that version of the codebase.

Likely a regression from the commits that refactored the menus:
