I'm fairly new to using IPTV players, so pardon my lack of knowledge, but...
I am only wanting to use the Web Browser player, so that I may bookmark the URL and have it stream what I need (without downloading anything if possible). I'm aware how to simply copy/paste the M3U8 URL links onto the player and it works (if working), but then I come across a different URL within the playlist that gives looks more like an IP address with a Port, and nothing else after it.
I personally want to watch Japan's NHK-General (http://203.162.235.41:14093) or any channel using the same address format.
I have yet to figure out how to successfully play it on any web browser players (unless I'm missing something involving CORS?).
I can run VLC player on my computer and have it stream no problem, but again the goal is to play on the web browser, not using another application.
I don't know of the terminology for this kind of IP address : Port format, but I've seen keywords around "external" or "outside"...
What would be the solution to this issue?
Thanks.
