Should the exit function allow for upgrading a contract e.g. through proxy contract scheme?

Instead of shutting the Exploitable contract down (e.g. sending all funds back to its users), a contract operator should have the option - when a severe vulnerability is found - to upgrade their contract through .e.g. a proxy scheme by changing out an address.
